Here's another thought:

Ok, so the impact is lost in translation. That quote originally was thought of in Tagalog so here's how it should really go:

"Wala kang karapatang sirain ang araw ko! Ako lang!"

As my close friends know, I am more of a sarcastic joker. Most of the time, I get to the punch line in the manner of delivery (so forgive me if it seems to be an arrogant statement).

Actually, this is part of my subliminal suggestions to myself to not be so damn angry all the time. Partly, also a reminder to everybody that we all have choices; a choice not to be let down by other people. In fact, nobody can make you feel bad about yourself or just about anything. It's only you who can ruin your day by letting other people get to you. So whenever people start bitch slapping you... you know the line to say and you know where you heard it from.

Reinvention means to recreate one thing from a pre-existing object; not entirely the same, not radically different; as always, should be better than the latest.

Rchrdlee is all about reinventing his weblog but has tired of making different ones whenever he got to doing a new blog skin. He has about 10 blogs but most of them died already because part of Chad also died long ago. Practically, this blog is all about blogskins but essentially, this is to help in evolving not only as a web developer but also as a person.

A dear friend, Rob, gasped when he heard of the creation of a new blog yet again. The fear of change should not be welcomed, nor criticism that could hurt. This is to welcome change and to embrace it head on. This is also an attempt to hold on to old memories; some were already lost in the hustle and bustle of remembering usernames, passwords and email addresses for password retrieval.

It's just a shame that to gain some, we lose some.

This is also a facet of the ever-changing Richard. A lighter one; less guarded; less dark and heavy; but to some extent, this is also an anti-septic version (for lack of a better word). Less philosophical than who Rchrd really is.

Nevertheless, there is always change, just hope it's for the better.

The light of the moon is sometimes a burden that reminds me, Light is always heavier than darkness. Darkness always subsides whenever Light impresses its presence. Could it be that the new moon is affecting me? I am feeling a mean streak coming over me.

Two days ago, I got little stones stuck inside my shoe. It was uncomfortable. Every step, the pebbles stabbed at my soles and I felt the sharpness. The next day, going to work, of course I had to put on the same pair of shoes and I deliberately left the pebbles in my right shoe.

I had this notion that it will be my constant reminder that life is hard but we must keep moving on. With the same discomfort and pain, I went to work, finished my 10 hour shift and even went out to brunch with my office friends. Still each step was a tad painful but after a while, the little stones got crushed under my weight. By the time I got home, there was practically no trace of the pebbles that got stuck in my shoe.

Lessons in life can always be found in the simplest of things.

Rchrd is Richard Bernal.

Rchrd is a 24-year old aspiring artist who realized that even without vowels, a person can still read his name properly. In fact, he prefers to hear his name with the vowels muted.

On any given day, he is full of ideas. Some would say that he is neurotic. Partly, that is true - he thinks that he is a reptile. Thus, the snake in the header.

It is uncanny how the rain would let us swell up with melancholy or be misty eyed with nostalgia. The lightest of gray in the sky, the most scattered shower and the softest of cool breezes would most often than not, launch us into a frenzy of memories, lovers past, and happy times gone by. The cold will lead us to look into the farthest reaches of recollection for that comforting embrace of a lover beside our beds but when you look to your side, it will just be the same cold, still lingering in the sheets that we still find. And soon, a warm tear might actually find its way down the side of our cheeks.

That was how I felt earlier this morning when I arrived home. I am still feeling sick. I got another bout of pharyngitis and I am thinking of having my tonsils taken out. Still thinking about credit card payments. Bills. Worries.

I tried my best to fall asleep as soon as I could so I could run away from the loneliness brought on by the rain.

On the surface, a still lake, you can take away as many pebbles from deep within and never notice it but the lake will still know it is missing a part of it. It will never be the same anymore.

Today is my birthday. In the Rain Calendar, the first day of the first month.

I should be happy right? Why the heavens am I crying? Because the most important person in my life is not with me. Need I expound?
